Remodeling and/or Sand & Finishing

Before the actual work begins, here is a list of items the homeowner or project manager should do prior to the crew arriving:

• Remove all furnishings, including appliances if applicable
• Remove drapes and wall hangings
• Remove items from counter tops and wall shelves
• Collect keys, medications or things you may need from the work area

We will start by hanging plastic over all open door ways, cabinets and counter tops to create a barrier to contain whatever project dust may arise. We use only the very best dust-extraction unit available. This is a start of the art truck or portable unit from Bona, Atomic Dust Containment System. It enables us to reduce the dust in you home considerably.

Whether being installed or sanded, it will be done by a trade’s craftsman with experience. All flooring mechanics have attended wood flooring sanding and installation classes given by the NWFA.

Your floor is unique because it is in your home. We will create a floor showing its natural beauty or with a custom stain color created with your approval. Depending upon your choice of stain and finish type, the drying times may vary. Most of our projects can be completed in a five day work week from start to finish. Our goal is to make the process as convenient as possible for you, the customer.
